Movie vs Book

In summary, watching the movie can be a good resource to get an idea of what the book is about and thus read it.

We have read the book and seen the movie. Even though the movie takes the whole theme of the book and stays true to what is written, there are many parts of the book that we don't get to see in the movie. Also, we didn't manage to make as strong a connection with the protagonists of the story as we did in the book.

An interesting fact is that the film was produced in 1984, the time in which the story of the book is set. Considering the time this movie was produced, we may find the image quality and all these cinematic aspects strange. But focusing on the story as such, we can say that it maintains the essence of the book in a good way, it could be much better and thus allow consumers to connect much more with the plot and the characters.
